We’ve been working on this so hard and for so long, that we’re punch drunk, but it’s getting there: almost a full first act. Neighborhood of 30,000 words. How tired are we? Here’s our last exchange in Saturday’s Campfire, after she posted her edit of Chapter 4:

Krissie was on deadline, so Lani and I talked about life and business and other things and none of it is printable for public consumption.   I never once said, “So, Mesopotamia.”  Really, we’re pathetic.
But it’s October now.  We’re getting our acts together.  Really.

Okay, it’s not a transcript because we’re together in the Village, but we spent the night brainstorming (Krissie feel asleep which tells you how exciting it was, but Lani and I made it past midnight), and as always, talking about it together in person speeds things up incredibly.
