A Week on Da Book

Krissie and Lani are heading my way on Wednesday and we’re going to spend the whole week and get the revisions done.  We’re determined.  Of course, there will be iHop and Hobby Lobby and a booksigning and DVDs and much deep discussion about everything but the book, but still, we’re going to get it done.

So I’m thinking one of us will blog here every day about what we did.  That’ll keep us honest.   Of course, I haven’t mentioned this to Krissie or Lani yet . . .

    Post, Post, post…

Who’s having the booksigning? Lani? Glad to know there’s more D&G on the way/

I believe it is Lani she’s got a book coming out. Tomorrow.

Anyway, I was starting to wonder about this blog. Good to know you’ve hoodwinked Krissie and Lani into posting. Well, when they find out.

Nah, we just blew ourselves out on getting the first draft done and now we’re regrouping. With pancakes.

The booksigning is at the Union Center B&N in Cincy on Saturday, the Valentine’s Day Signing so there’ll be a lot of authors there. We will be but three. All pushing Lani’s latest.

Woohoo! for Lani’s new book, and
Woohoo! for more dogs and goddesses! I was going through withdrawal.

You may or may not be blogging, but I hear there’s a Will Write For Wine podcast coming out of this visit. I finally get my D&G podcast!!!

Off to buy Little Ray of Sunshine! Smooches to Lani!!!

Pancakes sound like a most excellent method of regrouping. Yay new Lani book! Yay D&G revisions!!

Just wanted you 3 to know that, since you all had raved about Hobby Lobby, I drove over there today and got some yarn and another afghan hook to do an afghan based on McB’s patttern. That place is BIG. And they don’t have Sunday hours so that their employees can have Sunday off. And they don’t take credit or debit cards. It’s been a long time since I wrote a check in a store.

That’s a great idea! I so hope you do blog daily. Split amongst three people, that’s not so bad–especially when compared with writing an entire book. Right? Right??

Mine takes credit cards, GP. Huh.
And yes, we’re doing a podcast on Friday. Assuming we can get the tech stuff right. Lani says it’s a piece of cake. Fingers crossed.
