Breaking News from Summerville
So there’ve been some changes.
Gracie, Jeff, the parrot, Milki, and Pia are definitely out.
Still in the game:
Abby, Christopher, Beastie, Daisy, Jamie, Bailey, Shar, Sam, Wolfie, Kami, Bikki, Ummi, Mina, Mort, Tallie, Squash, Bun and Gen, Baby and Ziggy, Ray, and Christy. Dog is still a maybe.
And we have three brand new first scenes. New talisman colors: amber, carnelian, and lapis (forget the copper/bronze/silver thing), Shar’s now 48, Abby’s dieting, and . . .
We’ve been working. The synopsis is almost done. We’ll put up a new first chapter soon. Really.

So excited! No rush, though, of course… Thanks for making Shar 48, too. I have a birthday coming up. I’m sure even the characters we haven’t met yet will be very memorable…

What color is carnelion? Should I google?
Kira- it’s usually a reddish color
I added pictures of the stones. Amber is more yellow, carnelian more red-orange. The three together are a kind of earthy primary triangle: yellow, red, and blue.

I’m excited to read the new and improved Chapter 1 when it’s ready.
And I thought Lani might be interested to know that the TV show “American Dad” made a Kool-Aid joke tonight. One of the characters was railing about conformity and ended it with, “I’m not drinking the Kool-Aid anymore!” Her clueless mother replied with, “Have you tried it with Splenda?” I laughed.

Have any of you come across some of the meanings behind the gems?
I like that Lapis Luzuli is considered a stone of truth, that helps the wearer more authentically expand their awareness and intellectual curiousity..to be open in all ways.
Carnelian is a stone of action, supposed to increase sexual energy and helps negate apathy and passivity.
Amber is good luck stone, supposed to help assist with accepting change and following dreams, and helps guard against impotency and promotes fertility. It is supposed to help transmute the negative to positive.
I’m going to trust you on losing Pia (even though I love that dog’s picture)because you have made stuff work out even when the initial premise is . . .odd.
