We met, one day late because Krissie was coming back from Dallas and Lani was coming back from Maine.  We gossiped about National, we chortled about D&G, we talked about the blog and what had to go up this week, we chortled about New York, and then Krissie left because she had just bought a brand new Mac and taking even an hour away from it was torture (she opened it while we were chatting) and so we stopped without really discussing the book.   We’ll be back chatting on Sunday and then of course from Wednesday to Saturday we’ll be chatting in real time AND going to look at the Mesopotamia exhibit at the Met and all kinds of other stuff involving blackberry mojitos–Lani is insisting–so nothing but good times ahead.
